ELLIOTIS - PINE & EUCALYPTUS

Coniferous plywood elliotis is produced from the veneer of coniferous wood. Elliottis Pine and Eucalyptus is found primarily in Brazil. The sheets are glued with phenol-formaldehyde glue. It differs from birch plywood mainly by the thicker veneer and smaller number of layers. Grading of our plywood is C+C. Other gradings on demand.

Elliotis Pine structural plywood types

  1. C+ / C CE2+: For floor decking and industrial applications where a solid surface is required, this type of plywood performs well as shuttering boards, especially when treated with release agents.

  2. C+ / C CE4: A cost effective option, good for general non-structural applications. One face repaired and sanded, reverse side has some defects.

  3. B/C: A structural panel with solid wood face on one side, for applications that require strength and a smooth surface for painting or veneering with thin natural veneers.

  4. C/C CE2+: Also known as sheathing plywood, this grade performs well at a lower cost, good for rough finishing in structural applications.

  5. B/B O&ES: A structural panel with solid wood face, mineral oil sealed, for use in concrete formwork.

  6. T&G (Tongue and Groove): In some cases the B/C, C+/C CE2+, and C/C CE2+ 18mm plywood panels are available in tongue and groove, for floor and roof decking applications.
